Folly

Eleven years ago today (April Fool’s Day), 4 Cairns were rescued…they were given “foolish” names of course…one of them was my Folly…she was 5 then…and now she is 16!  I don’t know when her actual birthday is so we celebrate it today…her day of rescue…because some follies are treasures beyond measure, I kept her name.. and she is priceless…she has been a challenge,  but totally worth it every step of the way…from hiding under the bed to a dog who now greets people when they come to the door, she has blossomed into a loving, happy little girl…she is amazing!  She has some health issues…limited hearing and eye sight and kidney issues maintained with prescription diet and supplements and I think a little dementia because she wanders around the house often, during the day, and some arthritis in ger hindquarters…BUT…she is in great shape for her age according to the vet…and she runs around  the back yard and picks on Gareth and loves us…it’s all good!

SO THANK YOU COL. POTTER FOR RESCUING HER AND GIVING ME THE PRIVILEGE OF HAVING HER IN MY FAMILY!

It was a fortunate day for all of us! A day to celebrate!
