Updates

UPDATE 4/22/2024: Reddick is ready for his forever home. (His foster-mom is so proud of him.) He came into Col Potter after living on the streets. He has settled into the comfort of knowing his daily routine and trusting people. He plays with toys and interacts with his foster home resident dogs. When he came he did nothing but pace and fret. He is an older boy who is looking for a home with a dog knowledgeable people as he can be reactive if one isn’t reading his behavior. He also has a sensitive GI tract therefore needs attention to his diet.

The reward of having him looking into your eyes with affection and anticipation of good things is the best feeling.

UPDATE 10/22/2023: Reddick isn’t ready yet but he is making wonderful progress. This senior boy has probably lived a lot of experiences we will never know but he loves being in a secure and kind household of his foster mom. He foster mom has him working with a dog trainer to help him get a new perspective. He loves simple agility type activities (appropriate to his senior years) such as going through a doggie tunnel or jumping over his foster mom’s legs. While he isn’t a cuddle boy, at this point, he does like to come get scritches.
