More About Ghillie
Introducing Ghillie who has recently joined the Col. Potter family. Ghillie is a sweet, affectionate and energetic girl. She loves squeaky toys and yak cheese chews. She zooms up and down the hall with her foster sister, squeaking a toy the entire time.
Ghillie sleeps quietly in her crate all night and goes into the expen at mealtime where she sits and waits for her food. She loves treats and nicely waits her turn to get one. She likes to go for walks but does pull so she would benefit from some training for proper walking behavior.
Ghillie loves her people so she would prefer a home where someone is there more often than not. She does stay quietly in the expen, however, when we go out, she gets very excited when we come home and joins the chorus to welcome us back. Ghillie doesn’t bark often but when she does, she has a loud, deep bark.
Ghillie is an adorable girl who loves to give kisses. She has such a cute face and expressive eyes. Her left ear tends to fold over which only adds to her cuteness. Ghillie would love to have a forever home of her very own – might that be yours?

UPDATE 7/14/2024: Hi everybody – Ghillie here this time to give you a quick update. I’ve been in my foster home for about 2 months and am settling in nicely. I love squeaky toys although they don’t squeak for very long after I get through with them! I also love yak cheese chews and wrestling with and chasing my foster sister. My walking behavior has definitely improved so we’re now working on ‘no jumping’ on visitors. I am a very affectionate girl and am quite content to lay by, next to (or even on) foster mom while she’s sitting on the sofa. I give kisses with enthusiasm. What I really want is a home and family of my very own. Will you be lucky enough to call me your sweet girl?
