Ann Landers and Dear Abby are sisters and unlike their namesakes they love each other very much and they love being together, They are sweetest and quietest Cairn Terriers I have ever met. I have heard Ann Landers bark two times – that’s it. She was a little stand-offish at first but now that she is comfortable with us she wants to be with either myself or my husband cuddling with her sister on the couch. This bonded pair needs to be adopted together. Some people might say “oh boy…two dogs”, that could be a lot. My family has fostered many, many dogs. I can honestly say these two ladies are easiest foster we have ever had! They are calm, sweet, loving, and I say this in the absolute best way, happy couch potatoes!! They are such good dogs and they deserve a loving family who will appreciate how wonderful they are.

UPDATE 4/2/2024: Ann Landers is a wonderful dog but honestly these two ladies are the best. They get along so well with all of our dogs. They love to go outside and wander around the yard. They both can get up and down the stairs no problem for dogs their age. They are full of life. But they are very good at sleeping too. They still barely bark. Ann is the more rugged of the two girls. She likes to play the dirt and sniff things out. She is the watcher.. she is on guard to make certain all is well. We have been working on taking off a few pounds. We didn’t realize Ann was finishing everyone’s meals when no one was looking! Now that that has been addressed we think she should be slimming down a bit. These lovely ladies deserve a forever home. They have a lot of love to give.
