I'm not ready for adoption
Washburne is an adorable and affectionate little boy. He's adjusting well to living in a house with humans after being a breeder dog. He's quite skittish and at quick movement or unexpected sounds. After a week in foster care, he's started to adjust to the routine. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night and comes out with his tail wagging in the morning. We're working on housebreaking with frequent trips outside. He has been frightened of going through the exterior door, but is overcoming that fear. He can't decide sometimes if he wants to run towards me or away from me. He allows me to pick him up and relaxes once he's in my arms, though I need to approach him slowly. He responds to my voice with wags and kisses. He'll need a patient and understanding home as he blossoms into the wonderful and loving companion he's going to be, so watch for updates on his progress.
