Miss Elsa - I am Adopted
I'm already adopted!
I’m pleased to introduce you to the lovely, the lively, the adorable Miss Elsa. At a visit with a cardiologist, Miss Elsa had an echocardiogram. She has been diagnosed with VSD (ventricular septal defect), meaning she has a hole between the left and right ventricles in her heart. The cardiologist said since the hole was very small, she doesn’t require any treatment. He did recommend that she have annual follow-ups to verify no progression has occurred. He said we should treat her as a normal dog, with no restrictions on her activities.
Miss Elsa is a typical puppy: very active, inquisitive, happy and friendly. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night and seems to be housebroken. She loves to chase squirrels and birds but can also relax and lay by us on the sofa. Miss Elsa loves stuffed toys and yak cheese chews. She gets along well with the resident dogs.
Miss Elsa is not yet ready for adoption because she needs to be spayed but that will be done soon.
