Tanner Wisckol

Adopted March 2005
Passed April 2008
Cairn Terrier
Joy & John Wisckol

We adopted Tanner in March 2005. He came to us with severe ear infections, yeast infections and gum infections and could hardly hold still, he was so miserable. He was also blind and deaf and mentally handicapped. You never saw a tail wag or received kisses but he was such a sweet little guy. I called him my little man. Tanner did seem to know John and myself by smell and during one period of time, when he was feeling his best, he rolled on his side for belly rubs, which thrilled us. And he loved me to hold him in my arms like a baby and love him. Seemed he never was free of some type of illness but he bravely persevered. We loved him very much and miss him terribly. Tanner passed in April 2008 from kidney failure and left a hole in our heart and lives. I believe he is finally able to see, hear, run, bark, and wag that tail at Rainbow Bridge.
