Hi, I'm...
Joop - I am Not Ready
I'm not ready for adoption

I’m Joop, a West Highland white terrier, born July 2019. I’m not ready for adoption, but hopefully I will be soon. At first I was scared of everything, but I am getting braver. I wouldn’t come out of my crate and I was terrified of the leash, but I’m learning to walk on it. I’m exploring everywhere, and will pick up anything. I am just starting to learn to go potty outside, so I wear a belly band. I’m skittish and loud noises make me run and hide, so I will need a calm environment. Sorry gents, I want a home with ladies and I need to have at least 1 other dog to bond with (even more would be great). I have 5 foster siblings, but they are older and can be intolerant of my puppy energy and antics. I’m real fast and will require a fenced in yard, as a loud noise could make me panic and bolt. I’ve become very attached to my foster mom. I will need an adopter who is home most of the time. Patience and positive reinforcement are what I need to continue to enjoy my life of freedom.
