I'm not ready for adoption
This sweet, beautiful girl is one of our No Cairn kids but so worth of consideration as a companion for walks and quiet times. Isla is 50% Pomeranian, 371/2% Miniature Schnauzer, and the rest mixed. Our girl came into the Colonel Potter family with a lot of problems. She was very underweight causing her to be "wobbly", a few loose and diseased teeth, gum disease with sores, poor eyesight and skittish without being the slightest bit aggressive. Rescue has many faces and hers' really shows what it is all about.
But her story is slowly becoming a good news story. She had a few teeth pulled, gained enough weight to lose the wobble and runs a bit even with her poor eyesight. She loves the outdoors and long walks; gets along with other dogs but doesn't play yet. She wags her tail when talked to and likes to be gently petted but not picked up. Isla is content to lay down wherever she can see someone. Don't you want to be that someone? Check for updates as more chapters are written.
