Gambon - I am Not Ready
I'm not ready for adoption

9-year old Gambon is a stately gentleman of distinction. He is athletic, loves running around the fenced-in yard, playing with tennis balls, and taking long naps.

He adjusted very well to his foster home and foster sister, Rosie. After a few seconds of sniffing and some pack-order establishment, they get along wonderfully. He has been wonderful with his foster parents and is sure to inform us when he needs to go out, is hungry, or has found a potential threat (be it a fly, fox, or deer). Gambon's introductions to new people and other dogs are immediate friendship.

Gambon would love to be in a calm forever home with other dogs or alone. He would prefer to not be around loud noises nor surprise movement. The young children in his home of origin moved too quickly for him as he aged (matured). He has had some dental issues which are being addressed. He is not quite ready for adoption, but when he is, his foster family will truly miss him.
